Cutting and Edging

At Xcel Manufacturing, we provide a wood-based panel and board cut-to-size service with high accuracy and quality using our state of the art CNC machines. At the workshop we can cut small or large numbers of boards to various specified sizes in a quick and most economical way, so whatever size you require we can cut it for you.

Materials

We can supply and cut to size the following types of stock boards:

MDF: Standard FSC® MDF, MR / Exterior / Ecologique FSC® MDF standard size and oversized MDF and Moisture Resistant MDF.
MFC: melamine faced boards from the major manufacturers in UK and Europe.
Veneers: various popular Veneered Boards on MDF core or Plywood – oak, walnut, wenge or zebrano are just a few of a large array of available veneers.
High Gloss: Acrylic faced MDF and Moisture Resistant MDF.
Oriented Strand Board – OSB
EGGER EURODEKOR® Melamine Faced Chipboard and MDF and EGGER Laminate
Hardboard and Chipboard

Edge banding

We are able to apply a wide range of edging types to our boards these include:

Colour matched thermoplastic edge bands in high gloss, smooth and textured finishes and real wood edgings to match veneered boards, all in a range of thicknesses from 0.4mm to 3mm.

Our standard colour matched edging is 0.4mm or 2mm smooth or textured finish.
